Well integrity – one of the critical concerns during the life cycle of wells – presents an enormous challenge to the global oil and gas industry. External and/or internal corrosion of tubing and casing is one of the main reasons for well leaks, causing fluid movement from one annulus to others.
Our focus is upon maintaining a complete understanding of the source of pressure communication between different annuli. Such data are of prime importance for designing any effective remedial action – Knowing the precise location of a leak prior to executing repair jobs leads to better planning, thus reducing downtime and repair costs.
