Excellence Logging, a multi-national oil field service provider, based in London, is pleased to announce that the convergence between onshore shale oil/shale gas mud logging and offshore international activities has started in the Conroe Technology Center.
A certified offshore logging unit has arrived at the recently opened Conroe Technology Center’s yard. It will serve for testing Excellence Logging’s Xview logging software platform, training offshore field engineers, and deployment in the Gulf of Mexico or Caribbean Sea.
The new Xview software platform is designed to provide a full lifecycle service from pre-drill studies to post drilling analyses with a special focus of real time geological and drilling surveillance for offshore drilling operations.
Mark Herkommer, head of the Conroe Technology Center, stated, “The recent favorable uptick of the US onshore market provides a great opportunity to validate our new technologies for offshore deployment.
