Artificial Lift

Long stroke hydraulic surface pumping units yield advantages in ease of installation, compact size, lower SPMā€¦ computerised management and maintenance costs/ownership

Our central offering in the artificial lift arena is related to the beam pump system – a process which uses a type of reciprocating pump to extract oil – via a new technology known as long stroke hydraulic surface pumping units.

These solutions are considered to be the last generation of the pumping units, with a stroke length reach of over nine metres.

Long stroke hydraulic surface pumping units yield advantages in terms of ease of installation, compact size, lower SPM and consequent reduced wearing for the tubing/rod contacts and for the bottom pump, computerised management and maintenance costs/ownership.

We offer two typologies of these units: skid mounted and wellhead mounted; the latter is particularly suitable for offshore applications. And by using a proper software, the design of the sucker rod system package is available.

The skid mounted type comprises:

·       The Pumping Unit:

Provides lift capacity up to 40,000 lbs and determines stroke length based on model: up to 288"

·       The Power Unit:

Provides driving force and control for the pumping unit and determines max speed with which the pumping unit can run; power units available up to 150hp

The wellhead mounted type comprises the Cylinder (directly mounted to the wellhead) and Power Unit.
