Excellence Logging’s CEO Bruno Burban is pleased to announce the appointment of John Lechner as the company’s Chief Operating Officer (COO), effective October 1st, 2019. John has more than 35 years of oilfield experience having worked in the European, African, Russian, North American, Middle Eastern and Far Eastern markets. John’s introduction to the oilfield was running land and offshore open and closed hole wireline services and from 1990 -1993 he was the Location Manager for these services in Norway, before switching his technical focus to drilling in which he held Operations and Business Development roles in contract drilling and integrated drilling project management with Schlumberger, Parker Drilling and OiLSERV. For the last six years John worked for Archer, with the last three years as Chief Executive Officer.
John will oversee the entire operational aspect of our company and will work strategically alongside the Finance, HR, NPD, and Sales & Marketing teams. Region Vice Presidents report directly to John.
In addition, Bruno takes this opportunity to announce the appointment of Yves Gehan as Operations Support Vice President. Yves is also based in London, reports directly to John and is responsible for all aspects of Service Line management.
