Yves Gehan

VP Middle East & Asia

Yves Gehan holds an Engineering degree from HEI Lille in France. He started his oil and gas career with Geoservices in 2002 as field engineer in Mudlogging and later in well testing. He progressed into operations management with assignments in Nigeria, Angola and District Manager of the West Africa region finally participating in the integration of the Geoservices group into Schlumberger. In 2010 Yves Gehan became one of the 3 founder managers of the Wilog group specialized in Geology related manpower and slickline services, reaching a yearly turnover of 23Musd in 2014.

Thang N’Guyen Van

Finance Director Middle East & Asia

Thang N’Guyen Van started his role as Finance Director Asia at Excellence Logging in September 2015. Before joining Excellence Logging, Thang enjoyed a successful 17-year experience with leading companies in different industries such as Sonepar, Geoservices and more recently Schlumberger. Thang’s career path, starting as an intern in Consolidation, to technical corporate finance positions and senior regional, global finance roles in Europe, Africa, Americas, Asia, Australia and the Middle East, has built up his extensive hands-on experience in all facets of business with a good balance between global and local, supporting and partnering, doing and leading. Thang holds an MBA degree from the Institut Supérieur de Gestion in Paris, France.

Francesco Vella

Business Management Manager Middle East & Asia

Francesco Vella has 25 years of broad international expertise in executive sales, business development, and operations & strategic global account management for the provision of market-leading technical services to Oil & Gas, Industrial, Automotive, Maritime & Infrastructure industries. He started his career in Civil engineering. In 1994, he joined the Oil & Gas industry with Geoservices, where held several positions from Field engineering, Human Resources - where actively contributed to HR group transformation, General Management to Sales & Marketing, leveraging on his high-stakes decision makers relationship by establishing a competitive advantage and business partnership in order to D2D (Differentiate 2 Dominate) the market. Prior joining Excellence Logging team, he held a Global Account Manager position with Schlumberger for Well Intervention and consulted as Sales, Marketing & Business Development Advisor in nanotechnology applications.
