Bruno Burban is pleased to announce the arrival and appointment of Kenneth Murdoch as Excellence Logging Chief Financial Officer (CFO), effective November 25th, 2019.

Kenny has 30 years of global financial leadership experience, with 26 years in the energy industry. He started his career in the nuclear sector with Rolls-Royce and has 24 years experience within oilfield. Kenny has lived and worked in 9 countries in the European, Russian, Middle East, North American and Far Eastern Regions. In his 18 years at Schlumberger, he held regional and global Finance roles with increasing responsibility including Financial Controller roles covering the North Sea Region, Global Well Services Segment and the Europe/Africa/Caspian Area. In 2010, Kenny was appointed as Global CFO of Maersk Oil, the global E&P company where he lead the Finance, IT and Supply Chain functions. He was then CFO of Bumi Armada, a Malaysian based company operating globally in offshore oilfield vessel and facility services. His last CFO role was at Staples Solutions, a leading European provider of workplace products, services and solutions with Retail, e-commerce and B2B sales channels."

Kenny will oversee the entire financial organization of our Excellence Logging, including Tax and Legal, Corporate Secretary, Accounting, Treasury, FP&A, and Financing activities. He will work strategically alongside the COO and the Executive VP in charge of New Products, Marketing and Human Resources.

With the acquisition of the surface data logging business of Weatherford International, Excellence Logging becomes the world’s largest independent Mud Logging company and a regional leader in selected Well Intervention services.
